Christmastime and Exciting News!

Isn't Christmastime just the best?

Last year was a bit of a wash-out for me, due to various issues, and at least partly to do with my whole city being flooded, and me being stuck at home for that exact reason.

This year, I feel like I'm trying to pack two (or more) Christmases into one. I've got my lights up, the tree is covered in tinsel and baubles, there's presents under it (guess who's getting that Zootropolis bunny? *coughmecough*), I found it in Home Bargains (a discount store) AND IT ACTUALLY TALKS!!!

I'm having my Christmas dinner with some lovely friends from America, who wouldn't hear of me being alone for Christmas, and tomorrow 'til Christmas eve, I'm going to see my aunt, uncle and cousins for some pre-Christmas-Christmasing (we tend to view most of December as 'Christmas' in the UK), and I'm totally taking my ice skates home to my aunt's, to do my first skating since 2010. It's like the December I wish I'd had every year for the past... however many years it's been since I was choosing my own stuff.*
Image quality... not the best. I sorta dropped my camera lens
while running round King's Cross station a couple days ago,
and now it won't focus properly. That's TWO dairy-free selection
boxes that I found in a supermarket (Morrissons, if any British
readers want to buy these).
Also this adorable adult babygro arrived last week... I'll write a review as soon
as I can get more photos.

Now I just need to make a stocking and finish up buying presents, cards etc for everyone I know IRL who has made the last few months bearable while I tried to find some sort of purpose after several huge Earth-shattering life events one on top of the other -- they never seem to take turns, do they?

Also, I have some UNBELIEVABLY exciting news coming VERY SOON regarding a webcomic, just as soon as I'm not drowning in CSS and image resolution and all that other technical design stuff that I have a low attention span for. But the HTML's done and the new website is almost ready and I even got Manga Studio for my birthday from my relatives, to go with the graphics tablet I bought, so there may possibly be a spanking webcomic very soon, although it will have its own separate website for legal reasons: They're about to ban such things in the UK (read part 3, but be warned; it's long and intentionally convoluted and obfuscatory), so I'm also going to be emigrating later next year because I can't live in a country where I can't post pictures of spanking, ageplay and BDSM on my own bloody website without forcing people to input credit card details. I know a couple of other spanking people who have shut their sites down to avoid this, but don't worry, I have dual citizenship with somewhere less censor-y, and I have full EU privileges regardless of what the UK does, and I am also fluent in French and passable in German and Italian -- languages are something I pick up really quickly, which is useful for my MSc in Obscure Science; I swear the only reason I understand science at all is because chemistry and computing were both like learning a foreign language -- so even if I can't get a PhD in some half-decent English-speaking nation, it's not the end of the world. Although it's still rather irritating because I just got my little room decorated with that Disney princess wallpaper I wrote about a few months ago. Le Sigh.
But anyway; webcomic coming soon!

And I'm still trying to figure out if a giant candy cane would make a sexy spanking implement or just a really crappy one. I'm not sure in real life that a candy cane would have enough flex to work properly, although I've read a few stories that have used them in that way... What do you think?
Let me know in the comments if you dare!

*I actually know this one. It's six years. Although this is the sixth Christmas so... five? I'm never very good at working out how to count stuff like that.

My 10 Favorite Ageplay Activities

1. Bath time.  This is my favorite-favorite.  In 2006, I bought my bath ducks (I had no idea what ageplay was until much later haha).  Sadly this year they finally had to be thrown away because they had gone a funny color inside and we were pretty sure they'd gone moldy.  I am looking forward to cashing my first paycheck soon so I can get some more!!

2. Going to the toy shop.  I did this yesterday with my Husband, although I got a little over-excited afterwards and couldn't sleep last night.  There's always been Toys-R-Us, but a new warehouse-sized toyshop superstore has just opened RIGHT NEXT TO IT.  So I got a bit excited because there's some crossover between what they sell but there's also a lot of awesome unique stuff in each.  We spent about 2 hours just browsing and pressing things that said "try me."  I would love to work in a toyshop but I just know I'd spend all my money on toys.  My Husband's very easy going about what I spend money on as long as I have earned the money to spend, so I'd end up with a house full of play doh and Barbies or he'd have to decide an allowance for me.

3. Going to the play park.  At the toy shop, we were a little disappointed that all the swing sets said "maximum load: 50kg" (I'm about 55kg SO not fair) but ageplay is so widespread now (I'm not saying it's widely accepted just that there's enough people doing it) that there's a whole host of online businesses specialising in adult play equipment.  I hold out hope that somewhere makes an adult swingset but in the meantime we go to the park late at night.  Municipal play equipment has to be safety rated (where there's blame people will claim) and tends to be made much stronger.  We wait until the dead of night and if there's anyone around we keep walking.  It's *so* much more carefree to go out and play knowing nobody's judging you (plus the whole "has the crowd consented" thing which I tend to err on the side of caution).

4. Roller skating.  I can actually kid myself that grown ups might do this too.  I mean, they make adult sized roller skates, right?  I try to go skating at least once a week for at least a mile of continuous skating.  It's more civilized than jogging and I can choose to wear a skirt over my leggings.

5. Ice cream.  Being casein-intolerant, I can't have dairy ice cream.  Luckily for me, dairy-free has become trendy in recent years and all my local supermarkets have suddenly started stocking dairy free cornettos, strawberry splits and Magnums (all unbranded of course).

6. Playing video games.  I really like a good immersive game with an easy mechanic that doesn't require me to be a pro-gamer or spend 12 hours a day online.  I enjoyed Lord Of The Rings Online immensely before they messed it up a couple of years ago with weird updates.  I am currently on the lookout for another free, good MMORPG with no Player vs Player and lots of different in-game activities.  On the Wii-U, I am currently playing Disney's Tangled, Mario Kart Wii-U and Boom Blox.  When I need my fix of games I currently play Tomb Raider 1-5, Baldur's Gate/Neverwinter Nights/Planescape Torment, all download from Good Old Games and optimized for the modern computer/laptop.  Otherwise, I get an emulator and play old C64 games, or I crack out my Amiga for New Zealand Story.  I especially love 2-player games but there aren't enough around that I can actually play.

7. Playing with Polly Pockets.  These are pretty age-specific, in that they were only made fro 1989 to 2001, so if you weren't a child between those years you may have no idea what a polly pocket is.  It's a playset for little girls designed to be a self-contained scene (e.g. a wedding or a castle or a circus) with tiny people to play with.  They're really easy to store, totally explicable as a "retro collectable" (complete sets are worth a bit of cash) and the best part is they are super-detailed and fun to play with.

8. Playing with my rabbits.  I have a few bunnies.  They're all rescues.  Two live indoors and two live outdoors, so they have different behaviors and interests.  The indoor ones trust me enough to let me pet them.  The outdoor ones prefer to play chase.  I love feeding them treats of leaves, I like growing cilantro (coriander) for them to nibble, and I especially enjoy putting them on their leads for walks (yup, rabbits can be trained to go walkies, nope, they won't get very far - they'll stop at the first grass they see and eat it).  I also love photographing them to adore later.  Looking after them can be pretty hectic - last month I had all of them in the vets - and it's heartbreaking when a bunny dies, but they're the perfect companions for us.

9.  Playing dress-up (aka cosplay).  This is often (but not always) to do with sex.  Sometimes I do it for the sake of it, because I have so much fun doing this, although finding time has meant I don't get to do it as much as I'd like, and the reason it's more often to do with sex is because my Husband just can't resist when he sees me in a sailor dress or similar.  The best one this year was Slave Leia for Valentine's Day, although since I'm the exact same age she was when she wore that costume, that particular costume was more to do with my M/s fetish than ageplay.

10.  Going to the zoo.  Last time, I got so excited when I saw the sign for the zoo that I nearly drove off the road.  The giraffes are my favorite zoo animals, but I also like the lemurs, meerkats, zebras, flamingoes, the hippos and the elephants.
